FAQ
Which instruments are allowed to participate?
Woodwind instruments: Flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, oboe
Brass instruments: trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, horn, euphonium, tuba
Percussion: drums, timpani, etc.
How many concerts does the youth orchestra play?
Every year, the youth orchestra plays a concert in November at the autumn concert, one in December at our Christmas party, one in March at the Hollerich Gala Concert and one in July at the Place d’Armes
How can I participate?
If you have been playing your instrument for at least a year, you can take part.

What does Muziki mean?
‘Muziki’ is a word from the world language Esperanto. Translated, it means ‘to make music’ or ‘to play music’. Esperanto is a language that was invented with the aim of being a world language, that is, a language that is spoken all over the world. Since it is always said that music is a language that is understood all over the world, we officially gave our youth orchestra this name in March 2025.
