Joining the orchestra

New members are always welcome. Young or old, musician or not, there’s a place for you here. The various options for becoming a member are listed here:

Joining the Harmonie:

We are always looking for Musicians of all levels and ages. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 20:00 – 22:00 and the following instruments can participate:

Woodwinds

  • Flute
  • Clarinet
  • Saxophone
  • Bassoon
  • Oboe

Blechblasinstrumente

  • Trumpet
  • Flugelhorn
  • Horn
  • Trombone
  • Euphonium
  • Tuba

Percussion

  • Drums
  • Timpani
  • and a lot more

Joining the youth orchestra “Muziki”:

Children and teenagers who have already been playing an instrument for at least one year can join our youth orchestra. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 19:30 – 20:00.
Here the same instruments as in the Harmonie can participate.

Become a Donating Member:

Even if you don’t play an instrument you can of course still support our orchestra, either directly with a donation or by buying a membership card. If you buy a membership card, you have to pay 10€ a year. In return you get your membership card and are officially an honorary member of the Harmonie Municipale Hollerich, Luxembourg-Gare, Cessange.

Become part of the committee:

The Orchestra of Hollerich has a committee where one half of the members are non-musicians. This is perfect for everyone who wants to actively help our orchestra with the organization of our many events.
